Ingredients
- 500g basa fillets, cut into bite-sized pieces
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 2 eggs, beaten
- Oil for frying
Method
- Pat the basa fillets dry and season with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
- Coat each piece in flour, then dip into beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the nuggets until golden brown on all sides, about 3–4 minutes per batch. Alternatively, bake at 200°C (400°F) for 15 minutes until crispy.
